Self Publish Riga, Riga Photomonth: A Love Affair Between Photographs and Words
We are thrilled to announce that our managing editor Lisa Stein will be representing the Photocaptionist at Riga Photomonth 2018 as a member of the jury for the SELF PUBLISH RIGA Photobook Dummy contest. This year the International Summer School of Photography have teamed up with Kaunas Photography Gallery and the printing house KOPA to publish the winning dummy.
A shortlist of the submitted dummies will be part of the SELF PUBLISH RIGA exhibition taking place at the ISSP Gallery in Riga from May 10th, when the winners will be announced, to June 3rd 2018. The Top 10 dummies will receive a special online feature and will be promoted by FK, a web-based magazine writing on Latvian and international photography, and YET Magazine, a triannual photography publication which showcases editorials and photographic series from artists worldwide.
Lisa Stein will also deliver the talk ‘Photocaptionist: A Love Affair Between Photographs and Words‘ to introduce the platform to the Latvian audience, more info here.
